Care guide

Your reborn baby has been hand-painted with great care. With a few simple steps, it will retain all its softness and beauty for many years to come.

Daily Care

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources (radiators, cars in the height of summer): heat can damage the vinyl and its paint.
• Avoid objects that stain, such as pens, markers, or new, brightly colored clothing that could transfer dye onto the vinyl.
• Keep it out of reach of pets, who might mistake it for a toy.
• Always support its head when you pick it up, just like with a real newborn.

Bathing

Full-vinyl body babies: they can take a bath in lukewarm water with mild soap. Dry them thoroughly afterward, including the inside, by letting them air dry.

Fabric body babies: they must never be put in water. Simply clean the vinyl with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

In any case, never use alcohol, solvents, or household cleaning products, which would damage the paint.

Hair

Rooted hair: style it gently with a very soft baby brush, working from the ends to the roots. Never use a hairdryer or curling iron.

Painted hair: it requires no special care; just avoid rubbing it.

Clothing

Wash the clothes by hand or on a delicate cycle, separately, and let them dry completely before dressing your baby again.

Magnetic pacifier

Some babies come with a magnetic pacifier. The magnets must be kept out of reach of children and away from electronic and medical devices.

Storage

If you store your baby, place it in a dry, temperate area, in a box or bassinet, away from light.
